The Last Wife Greyscale Theatre Company/The Globe (April 2019) I worked as Assistant Director on this play, for a week of R+D at The Globe.

The Female Gaze Alphabetti Theatre/The Female Gaze (July 2018). We ran an R+D week developing The Female Gaze play; ending with a showing. This project was funded by Arts Council England.

A Collection of Phrases Dance Creates Conference (October 2017) I was commissioned to create and perform a prose poem in response to the conference.

Alice in Wonderland The Royalty Theatre (July 2017) My hour long adaptation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland was performed by The Royalty Theatre’s Youth Group in July 2017.

Meds (an extract) West Yorkshire Playhouse (November 2016). A play about medication and mental illness.

Box The Cluny (October 2016) A play about abuse, seen through the eyes of a perpetual child, living on stage in a cardboard box. Performed through Playing Up.

Star Live Theatre/Poleroid Theatre (May 2016) I was picked as one of the North-East’s “fast emerging writers” for the variety night Write it: Mic it. A play about the effect the death of David Bowie has on a group of female inpatients.

Forum Hull Truck Theatre (May 2016) A play about online health forums.

A Monologue West Yorkshire Playhouse (February 2016) About the effects of anti-psychotics on dreams.

Train ARC Stockton (January 2016) A play about suicide and how people respond to it.

Beats North (curtain opener) Curious Monkey at Northern Stage (September 2015) I wrote a curtain opener for Curious Monkey’s show Beats North; using music to elicit the emotions connected with Bipolar Disorder in the audience.

Grave Alphabetti Theatre (September 2015) A play which gives voices to the unearthed bodies in Bedlam’s graveyard.

Neil Alphabetti Theatre (August 2015) A play about genetic manipulation. A scientist clones a Neanderthal man to study the differences between their brains and ours.

Aftermath Alphabetti Theatre (March 2015) A play that explores the inheritance of mental illness from mother to daughter.

Is This What the End Looks Like? Northern Stage (January 2015) Performed through Playing Up, a group of playwrights from the North-East who organise and run group Scratch Nights.

Compulsion (2014) My longer piece Compulsion was shortlisted and longlisted for three separate competitions from 42nd Theatre Company (Shortlisted), Theatre 503 (Longlisted) and Tobacco Factory Theatre (Longlisted).  The play is about an Outsider Artist who creates artwork live on stage.
